Well guys it's that time of year for me again! Working at an airport comes with some nice fringe benefits! Last year I was able to snap a few pics with one of the the Air Force Thunderbirds. They didn't come out very well because it was nighttime, raining, and my camera is cheap, but it was still cool nonetheless. This year, I still have the same crummy camera, but the lighting was much better and I was able to get some shots with a few F15s and a couple A-10s. Hope you guys like 'em. Let me know what you think.

 

Ya it's to bad about the camera, but cool shots for sure. I could go to an airshow every weekend.

Yeah this thing just doesn't take real great pictures unless the lighting is perfect. I need to break down and just buy a DSLR one of these days

The other funny thing is that I was just talking to one of the professional photographers about doing a shoot and he said he was totally down for it if I could get the car inside. Neither one of us thought it would happen though. So then I decided to make a few phone calls anyway, but by the time I got the OK he was leaving for the day. When I told him about it today he was like "You should have called me! I would have definitely come back!!" Oh well, I guess there's always next year (and no, I'm not a Cubs fan )

Haha, yeah the F16s didn't show up until today and I couldn't get at them... Had to take what I could get And actually (not to get all technical) but personally, I think the Evo is probably more like an F18 than anything. The F16 is small, light, fast and agile, more like a Lotus Elise maybe. The F15 is a beast built on pure power, more like a muscle car. But the F18 kinda combines the best of both worlds and does everything well!!

 

I like the one with the A-10s, nice shots.

Yeah I need some wheels too!! The problem is the roads where I live are awful! I feel like i'm driving through a mine field half the the time... One wrong move and I'm liable to lose a wheel, a bumper lip, or both!!

Thanks man! We we're actually supposed to have the Blue Angels this weekend but our show got caught in the list of cancellations since they put themselves on a safety stand down I was hoping for some "Evo and Angels" pics but it wasn't to be.
