It was standard, maybe it was optional for early year models

i wish i had the SSS wing i gotta find someone to swap.

what year/model subaru did you have?

 

it's very interesting that they didn't put the wing for the earlier models because I guess Evo 8/9 had the wing as a standard option or am I wrong? It's funny that they don't have the HIDs as a standart option, that really doesn't cost them too much

btw, it's in my sig. it was an 11 STI

 

I think the VIII/IX wing was also optional, just coincidentally all the models that the dealerships got came with the wing on. I may be wrong.

 

what was wrong with your 11 sti? did the ringlands go...

i read that the evo's produced in the year 2011 would all come with the big wing from the factory on every model. so if you have an 11 model made in 10, it would be either a small wing, or the mr lip. not sure if what i read was right, i guess a mitsu dealer would know. (i like the big wing, makes the car look great).

 

There was nothing wrong with the STI besides being slow , Seriously though, that was my second STI and after test drove the Evo I realized I should get rid of the STI and get an Evo, people with popping engine and the deficient support from SOA were also the other triggering factors
