Just ordered some new things.

Tein S-tech lowering springs. After looking at a bunch of springs, the S-techs are a 1.9'/.9" drop, which I think is more suited for me to avoid slamming it, and it should give the car a nice stance. This is going to be temporary until I find a legit set of coilovers.

Ordered a full K&N intake with new filter, pretty straight forward.

Going with all new Hawk HPS pads with rotors undecided yet (any suggestions?)

Also buying a used OEM exhaust manifold and sending it off to Buschur for a port & jet coating.

New front upper strut brace also purchased. (Is it worth it to purchase the front lower brace? Looks pretty cool either way. http://cgi.ebay.com/03-05-Lancer-Evo...item2312052909 )

The guy says my bumper should be done by 5 today. Pictures as soon as I detail it!

he is semi right lol. It's been known to blow your shocks, but my good friend in fort lauderdale has been riding these for a good 5 years plus and still no issue.

Scary to think how much that horrible looking Veilside bumper cost, unless it was a replica.

I'll just see what happens. It's a cheap temporary solution to sitting 5 feet in the air :P

I'll eventually go with a full coil-over setup.

S-techs are perhaps the worst springs to install on the car.

I appreciate the info, but what would you recommend? I have not commited to buying them yet.

I am interested in a decent drop in the front, the rear seems already decently low and small wheel gap stock.

Also, I decided to skip the K&N intake. I have read a bunch of bad reviews on it, so I think I'm going to go with a silicon intake pipe and the BLOX ait filter that bolts to the MAF. Any reviews on this thing? Had anyone used this setup with Injen UICP?

Check out Swift springs & GTworx. Both are a popular choice among Evo owners.

If you browse through the suspension thread, you'll see lots of information about those springs.
