well my motor finally blew.. i plan on taking my time with it and building it over the next year. i dont want to rush it and go broke just trying to get her back on the road. i still gotta pull the head off and figure out everything i managed to destroy, ill update as soon as that happens.

 

Ouch, how many miles you get out of the motor? Sounds like a good idea, take your time and build it right the first time! What's the goal for new motor?

Hopefully you can find a cheap used bare block. It took me a few months to find one for a IX.
