Whats up guys? A few of you may have seen my old Evo III when I made the thread a couple of years ago: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...99-my-evo.html.
Anyways, I sold the car back in 2009 in hope to get an Evo IX, just to find out I couldn't get insurance on an Evo again because our insurance companies were going on really strict. So I ended buying an 1997 JDM ITR and modding the **** out of it. I got tired of the Honda world and decided to part the car out to make some money because I saw an Evo VIII I wanted!
The part out lasted about 1 week and I was able to buy my Evo
Here are some pics:

The car is super clean, I absolutely love it. I am never leaving the Evo world again!
A few plans I have over the next few months are:
MAPerformance 3" Downpipe o2 Eliminator (V-Band Re-circ option) + test pipe
Grimspeed 3 port boost controller
AEM Wideband
Clutch Kit (Haven't looked in to what type yet)
Re-Flash from 4WSTuning (Not many tuning options available in the Cayman Islands so what 4WS does is great for me)
The car currently has a 3" catback exhaust, HKS filter, Forge Type RS Blow Off (Re-circ) and Tein Lowering Springs.
Anyways, let me know what you guys think! I'm looking to build a bad *** stock turbo Evo

Thanks man.
Removed the SAS today:

Upper Piping:

As you can see I have two holes in my exhaust manifold, that's where the SAS use to re-circulate back into the exhaust. I need to find something to bung it off, had no luck today though, this is why island life sucks sometimes, can never find anything locally.

Why does everyone remove the SAS setup? I've got it in my JDM Evo 7 and just wanted to know why people always chuck it out.

Thanks man. The reason I removed mine is I have no use for it + I wanted a ported manifold from the USA which does not have the holds to put the SAS lines into.
what did you do with the plug, wiring, and switch for the intercooler sprayer set up? I want to remove mine because I dont use it. I got an aftermarket intercooler and also want to free up space in the engine compartment but dont want a loose plug and wires hanging around or a switch in the interior that doesnt do anything.
