Got the intake manifold last week, it's a stock one but ported by Curt Brown, just like my exhaust manifold. I'm just waiting for the heat barrier gasket to put it on. Then I'll have the map sensor pigtail I bought wired into my ECU so I can log boost. JDM Evo VIII's don't come with a factory MAP sensor.

Got some goodies! (MAP H11 head studs also bought but on the way currently):

Just need GSC S2's, Kiggly Springs/Retainers and some injectors now!

I also installed my Curt Brown ported intake manifold today. My car doesn't have a MAP sensor from factory so that was one of the main reason for switching to the USDM manifold. I got a 4 bar OMNI on it, just need to get an oem pigtail wired into my ECU now then I will get re-tuned by Tom!

Results from my latest tuning session posted below. Gained 30whp from putting on the Evo IX Turbo + Ported Exhaust/Intake Manifolds and switching from HKS filter to Perrin!

While in the process of doing all of this my mechanic also advised me that my tie rod ends needed to be changed badly so I have ordered the Whiteline roll center/bump steer correction kit and 2 Inner tie rods ends from STM.

After getting retuned all I have on my wish list to buy is a Dual Ball Bearing FP Red. Can't wait to buy that!
