Finally some progress pics. Been really busy starting up my own performance shop. This is my first cage and I'm following NASA spec rules for it. Im using 1 5/8" DOM .120" wall. When I was mocking up the front end with the factory upper and lower radiator support everything didnt line up perfect, so I opted for the removable front end route and love how it turned out. Motor is going to be ALOT easier to come out now . Cage should be finished up this weekend and finish body work next week, ready for paint by January.

Front end on:

And off:

I was worried at the end, especially when the thread started off with a wrecked evo then instantly went into a Del Sol engine bay...I was like "HE DIDINT B18 swap this **** NO HE DIDNT" props to you I also came from a 450whp CRX.

Now that you added the cage I am hooked. Loving this build its starting to look top notch!

sorry for posting on a 6 month old thread, but was curious after reading 11 pages to see what the progress is on this. I am very interested in seeing this finished since the previous owner of my evo decided to roll and pull my qp's and they look like crap. I have been pondering on this kit for some time now since I like the way it retains the stock body "look" rather then going with the other rear kits that I personally don't want.

Sick build man, I think I'd be speaking for everyone by asking for an update. I'm debating the wide body rear quarters would love to see how yours came out.
