Stock body? Did I trick my first person? I have been debating with my body guy how many people will think it's stock or not be able to tell whats done. Until I park it next to my other stock evo. LOL

LOL looks good so far I love that you molded it....always said if I ever went that route I would never leave the stupid body lines or bolts showing. Definitely in for finished pictures good work!

I think the the fenders were like 350ish? n the rear quarters were about 450 I think. I will have about 1500 in supplys and paint maybe a little more, and a I lost count a long time ago how many hours I have into it. So if you did this yourself you would be looking at about 2000-2500$ and a few hundred hours..lol

Also the ait jdm rear bumper was a good idea because a stock bumper wouldn't have looked very good at all with the kit, and a oem jdm rear wouldn't have been able to stretch that far. Lots of little tricks I have found when doing this def not for the faint of heart.

You make me want to mold in my wide body! Did you ever think of filling the key whole on the trunk?

I am usually not a fan of this kind of thing at all but you are doing it right and its looking good.I like how the WB isn't something rediculious looking and actually has about the same lines as stock.

Cleaned the evo out tonight, My painter said we should wait 3 weeks for shrink back before we paint so I need to get started on making the cage!!! Hopefully I can get the pipe bender and metal ordered early next week. I'm excited to get going on that and to cut the roof off

A little update... sorry i've been so busy lately guys haven't been able to keep the updates regular...

In this pic i've blocked out the primer then wet sanded to 320 everything looks laser straight and fits pretty well considering me trying to hide the fact it's a widebody. You can tell that it's wider mostly around the tailights in rear but i'm gonna play with it a little more to try and make it better. Also 2 nights ago i started mocking everything up in the front and it wasn't fitting the greatest. Where it had gotten hit was a little funny and i welded the top core support on to far back and a little low... So i cut the front end off. Now it all fits great lol

looks great so far! I actually like the look of that front bumper. But i personally would shave the mitsu triangle in the upper grille.
