Black headliner looks nice, my friend had it, but, that being said, I personally didn't go that route because it makes the interior really dark... just personal preference.

haha don't stare at it
Its not 100%, but watching him cover the dash I could tell how freaking hard it was to try and get it straight on the brim of it... stitching it self is straight, applying it on the dash has some wave... this was also his first one, I bet he's picked up some tricks now how to do it again.

Because this dash was actually done in two pieces, leather wouldn't be harder to my knowledge. If it was one piece suede and it was stretched, you could not do that in leather. So it should be very similar.

You should take note on how to protect what ever material you wrap it in against UV light. This specific suede we used has been tested in constant sunlight for over a year without fade.... leather, as we all know can not take that type of abuse, even synthetic leather to my knowledge. It shrinks and cracks etc... but that just means you need to be aware and protect it with conditioners and use a sunscreen when ever you can.

What 'other' material did you have in mind?

I'm getting alot of questions about the subs I used to fit under the seats.
I figured I'd post what they are, these are discontinued but you can still find them on amazon for stores that still have them.. Should be able to get 2 for under $150

I got them really angry
I changed the bulbs to red. I believe there are two bubls if you take the pannel off... they are just red bulbs, NOT LEDS... LEDS didn't disperse the light as well through the plastic deflector.

Where'd you get the bulbs from? I bought some 74-xHP3 from superbrightleds and they aren't terrible, but you can tell there are hotspots if you look closely. I'm curious as to trying other styles

Yup exactly, I had basically the same LED bulbs. There are some 3 way LED bulbs which maybe better, but I wasnt going to keep spending $3-6ea to try and find it out.

Pretty sure I got them from here
