Question Has Anyone Painted Black Exterior Trim Pieces?

I now have the Mitsubishi canards for my front bumper, and I want to paint them Tarmac Black before installation. I wouldn't mind painting other exterior plastic trim pieces while I'm at it -- you know, for that more expensive, Euro-chic look.

Has anyone painted the cowl at the bottom of the windshield or the A-pillar side mirror trim? Am I wasting my time / money? Any other trim pieces worth painting? Thanks in advance.

this car isn't "euro chic"... if class and flaunting were so important to you, maybe you should've thought about bmw?

Wow! thanks for setting me straight. If wanting to paint over cheap looking trim is all about flaunting it, I'm so guilty.

Back in the 80's, I always heard "euro-chic" when someone was referring to the blacked-out trim look of European sport models. It made them look sportier and more expensive than the overchromed offerings from the rest of the world.

BTW, IMHO the only cool BMW was the mid-70's 3.0 CSL. It came with an EVO spoiler, of course.

EXACTLY what i was thinking when they painted it, not for the euro look, I hate the whole "euro" ****. its crap. its becuase i thought it flowed better all painted on the outside. the same reason i removed all my emblems. the people i care about know what kind of car it is without the emblems.
