EVO 9 - From Russia with Love

Hi everyone!
My name is Anton, I am from Russia!

I live in Moscow.

I want you to tell the story of my Evo 9 GSR:

The car is completely standard engine for ... for religious reasons.

This car is my love!

I went on many machines and more expensive and powerful but there is no alternative to this car feels to drive. The machine is versatile in both winter and summer, her equally nice ride.

2nd machine is used 1-2 times a week on the weekends for the soul.

Since the purchase back in April 2007 and is still pleased with the car as a child ... now 5 years old I go to it and the thrill of riding each time the first time.

There is no desire to change it to something else.
In short Evo 9 - car legend.

Well, start quietly logbook car

April 2007
After buying a car run in Rolfe 5000 km very carefully and thoroughly - every day after work, my wife and I sat quietly ride

run-in

Frankly such a thing again now, I could not)))
Sleepy, tired after work ... pile and was dying because car is this provokes
But I restrained myself and break in exactly 5000 miles, very carefully, in the city, not speed above 3500 rpm

and then went immediately to the replacement of oil Sportmobil ...

Getting the oil had to pour a lousy Mobil 5-40, because car was under warranty and did not give the other to pour ..

Ride a bit and decided to paint the standard wheels in black
Said than done:

Now those wheels for the harsh Russian winter :-)

May 2010

that it became boring ...

I decided to buy a set of lightweight wheels for the summer ... Stock Enkey weigh about 10 kg ... just felt that the car hard to turn those wheels

Actually put new wheels OZ Alegerita HLT weighs only 6.7 kg! R17 8/35 5*114.3

Significantly improved the dynamics of acceleration and deceleration at the expense of almost twice the sprung mass. By design, almost a copy of CE28N, only half the price. ($2000 in Moscow)

Also raised elongated stud hubs and wheel nuts lightweight Kics R40.

Also, just bought for huge money at the time ($2300 in Moscow) sports tires Advan Neova AD 08 (235/45/R17)

It's just amazing! Can not be compared with any existing commercially available sports tires with the ability to ride through the city. Fully justifies its high cost. In this case it is universal is good for both the track and for the city. Very durable, unlike the Toyo 888 and with a hard cord. I recommend to all!

continued soon...

Nice job with the photography. Also, your car looks very good man. Sometimes I wish my car was stock, but that idea is way too far gone now lol!

Thank you!
My car I like in stock!
Because when you get minimum investments maximum results!

I think that the engine tuning is not as profitable for the money invested and the final result and the pleasure of driving, as stock motor with minimal completions of exhaust and fuel ...

Riding a stock boring ...
Nothing better to do started collecting model cars
Gathered a good collection:

and then I got the damn magazine called Hyper Rev)))

Yes, so easy and as much as two whole numbers!

Leafed through it ... viewing pictures ... pile pile of parts
And then course I have to refrain from further action has been difficult ...
