Working Evo pics

No garage queen or track car here...

Daily driver, 365 days a year in Boston weather. Built motor, HKS turbo and 100% MA legit. It sees Bikes in the summer, snow boards in the winter, 2 kid seats and has been beaten hard every day of it's life since I bought in new 2003.
It brings me to work and my two kids to daycare every day. At 4xx/4xx it's built for reliability, easy maintenance and nice driving manors with torque coming on strong under 3k. A set of PSS9 coilovers keep the ride tight but forgiving of potholes and ruts. While giving up some power, the 70mm DP, 300 cell cat and OEM cat back keeps noise in check and the man happy. I have found the speed density mod in V7 and an Exeddy twin SD clutch to make low speed/RPM driving in traffic an absolute pleasure.

It's not what most people think is "pretty" but She's mine and it works for me. Kids are cute too.

Evos. Just your average friendly family sedan. Just don't eat or drink anything but water in mine .

Thanks guys! We actually have a Suburban in the family fleet but the Evo sees more action and I actually feel safer in it due to better visibility/ telepathic handling and just a more familiar and comfortable setting.

I have had several, but I ditched the 3" cat backs after an intervention with the MA state troopers (before kids) and have since realized I can easily meet my modest power requirements with the OEM unit. It is still mechanically a bit loud at higher RPM (balance shaft delete) but nothing like 90% of the modded Evos out there I have seen an heard. Kids don't seem to mind.

lol i have that exact same recaro for my son! and for the guys wondering about the exhaust with kids. i have a 3" tbe on mine no cat and the kids don't mind, but i don't really get on it with the kids in the car so it doesn't get too loud
