fair price for shaving door handles

My ix is getting painted soon I was debating shaving the doors handles. How much is a fair price to have the shop patch/fill the hole where the handle was? I can do the rest of the work no problem.and since the door will be painted anyway that parts covered.

Door poppers are headaches. You pray they always work or the batteries don't die. Or if you go mechanical, hope they never stick or it doesn't freeze in your area.

Call body shops in your area.

And I concur. Leave the door handles alone. Shaving door handles is so 90's. LOL

Im not so worried about sticking or freezing its a show car 11k miles bought new in 06 .I do ocasionally take it on cruises or out on a nice night.the body shop my car is at for the bodywork/paint,I don't think wants to do it.he said 500 a door just to weld a patch over the hole and fill/sand.seems a bit pricey to me...
