The sucks to hear and see man. Unfortunately you are the one at fault. You could always fight the ticket, which I recommend, but when it comes to a vehicle blocking your lane like that, traffic coming in the other direction has the right of way.

 

MY GOD......... i cant stand to see an Electric blue be damaged like that. the main thing is at least your alright. i argee with the others fight the ticket any way you can, and hopefully there will be no frame damage. please keep us updated on the situation.

Well, the car is being picked up today from my house and taken to the insurance adjusters garage to be evaluated. I'm really hoping it's repairable. It looks like the ACD pump is smashed so that's gonna be pricey, headlight disintegrated, fender, bumper, hood, radiator support and a few other odds and ends. This is just from me looking over it though. We'll see what they come back with.
I'm thinking I'll just have them cut me a check, order the parts myself and have my mechanic do the actual work.
