I don't know for sure. Probably has something to do with options available in the car outside of the US.

Lets be honest here. You bought someones sales pitch. I can provide you with real world Evo drag racing results. As far as I know, No T3 turbo, no matter what turbo configuration you have has gone faster than the single scroll on my car. Once one does, I might be interested.

In other words, what happens on paper and in the real world are two totally different things.

I've spent thousands of dollars with you guys, Em. Funny thing is, Brian sold me the turbo. Sales pitch? Good to know for next time I'm in the market.

I'm not bashing the single scroll for how fast your Evo has gone. I am simply bringing up the possible better response/driveability of the twin-scroll option for your "street" Evo.

"I have a 2.4L GSX w/HKS272 cams with a t3 twin-scroll 54 trim cold side/0.89 A/R hot side"

Brian sold you what?

He is sitting in front of me right now, He says he never sold you or anyone for that matter anything like that. He may have wrung you up for something like that, but never would have sold or suggested anything like that.

If anyone has ever dealt with Brian they know he is the furthest thing from a sales person.

The 5557 is another story. When testing that turbo we had decent results with a mitsu housing (which we tested first) but no such luck with a t3 hot side. With the T3 they seem to spool vary slow. If you bought one from us with false promises by all means send it back to us and we will issue you store credit towards a new turbo.

Hey em, are you gonna sell the cf ducts from the other bumper. If so will they fit a 9 bumper. I just need them to temporarily fix my bumper. Some schmuck cut the bumper for ic piping.

I purchased a PTE5557 from you guys exactly a month ago on 11/16/11. I figured Brian would at least advise me against it

The turbo makes all of the power it says it will and more. Some people like the slow spool as they are still on a stock motor and dont want the exta tq. We actually run one on one of our employees cars and he likes it.

I am simply telling you that it spools rather slow so the two you are comparing are nowhere near even.

Unless you asked Brian or anyone what they thought about the turbo i highly doubt he would tell you to do it or not. If you called and said hey i wanna purchase a 5557 then your going to get a 5557 cuz to them it seems you have your mind set up and you hopefully researched what your wanting. Im sure they got numerous people daily calling about turbos or set ups, if they are like well your set up has a flaw here or there to everyone that calls then they will be on the phone all day without being to take orders or anything. Best advice is take your car to a builder/tuner tell them your goals and what you want and go from there.

Em car is looking amazing everyday. Its looking better and better with less CF on it. (no offense Sean). Cant wait to see it on the road. Em is there a reason you chose a 8 front instead of a 9?

After looking at the 9 front bumper over and over again, I just like the 8 better.

De- modding cars is one of my favorite things to do.

Couldn't agree more. The 8 bumpers are very aggressive.
