Black Friday =

Black Headlights

There is some more work to be done with the front emblem now as well as the mesh in the hood vent and front fascia.

Happy Thanksgiving EVOM

Headlights look great, I like the gloss black. I am going to be doing mine this weekend as well on my new project. What paint did you use?

What do you mean yellow? Like a tinted vinyl? I searched but haven't seen this on an Evo and I plan on doing my lights soon.

BLUEBATMOBILE sells an amber turn signal vinyl for the headlights, which is exactly what I'm waiting for to come in the mail. I just painted my headlights this week just like this, except I left the turn signal area chrome because I'll be adding the vinyl when it comes in. I used Krylon Fusion satin black, no prep work needed with that paint, other than making sure the surface is clean. Looks awesome!

I've read somewhere that using the fusion paint doesn't require primer. Can someone verify that?

You are correct. Just clean the surface and spray. That's all I did, and it turned out flawless. I sprayed multiple coats on both housings and still had some left in the can. You'll only need 1 can. They make a flat black, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
