Official: Born and Growing Evo!
I thought this would be a cool thread to start. I have seen this thread on the Hayabusa forum, and thought it would be cool here. The point is to post a pic or few of what your Evo looked like when you first bought it, and post a pic or few of how your Evo looks now. Here is mine.

I'll play with you
When I first got the car back in Oct 13, 2006. I got back from Iraq Oct 12, 2006 LOL!

I decided to go Ricer Status and Paint my Rims, we all had our faze.

I got a JDM Rear with Tail Lights and Red Gurney Flap

I rocked some Rotas for a while

I rocked some Advan RS SBC for a while for MoD

I had some painted Tail lights after I needed some money and sold the JDM one's, I got the Voltex Diffuser, side skirts and a kick *** deal on some Advan RG II's in Gold

I got rid of the painted Tailligjhts and got stock ones. I got a antenna I was told I needed a lip so, I went out and got one that I didn't even need paint! Woot

And this is the final product, wingless with a trunk lip and clean.

Update: New wheels again.. LOL!

And I had a friend take some fun photos at a coffee meet.

Now the car is getting built with a 2.4LR on a TS DBB 6265.

I'll play:

After the first pic I had Rota Grids in Bronze and some rexpeed parts
Second iteration was Rota DPT's in gold and repainted the calipers in Ford Blue with gold decals
Third Iteration was Rota Grids again in Gold but painted to match the car with The calipers and valve cover painted Lotus Isotope Green
4th iteration is now with Gruppe-S Volk TE-37 SL's and Work M1R's both custom offsets (+20). Changed alot of stuff along the way. Exhaust, Interior engine, power mods, etc. I think I am done. 2nd drive train rebuild next year, re-paint and wire tuck year after that and maybe suspension and brake upgrades following that year.
I'm flirting with selling one of my sets of wheels to get some CCW Classics (Titainium lip with body color matched centers. We'll see.

@ 06IXMR & SmurfZilla: great progress and props for sticking with the evo for all these years
@SmurfZilla: i would need to have the decaled spoke on both wheels pointed in the same direction, that would bother the hell out of me if they werent

Not enough spokes for VS-XX they are Work VS-TX
I'm going to assume they are from this buy... and are similar specs to this..
18x9.5 5x114.3 +28 front (45mm lip), 18x9.5 5x114.3 +26 rear (70mm lip)
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...available.html
Regardless they look MINT!
