Input on carbon fiber

i have a 2006 evo MR. i just wanted to get your input on this idea im thinking about doing.

carbon fiber front lip, hood, trunk, rear diffuser, roof, vortex and some other small things. right now my car is gray. already got the trunk and hood and just thinking about doing the whole middle of the car carbon fiber. what you guys think?

To every man his own. But sounds like its gonna look like a nice car in the end, pics would also be helpful in your process. BTW I got a new cf radiator cooling shroud that I'd be willing to sell to you for a great price lmk it just sits on my wall lol

ok yeah ill let you know, i just got into these cars like a year ago so im still learning, but i thought it would be a cool idea ya know. and yes ill get pictures once i get all the stuff in thanks

Carbon fiber cracks and warps in sunlight. If your using this car for anything but shows and in the garage, I would't do it. I've had 2 different carbon fiber hoods and both cracked, faded and warped within a year. Best of luck

Carbon fiber is nice, just don't go over-board with it. A lot of people tend to play it out

But hey it's your car so do whatever you want with it!

A stock Evo hood is lighter than cf unless it's dry carbon and your better off wrapping it in a Sikk cf wrap just not a cheap autozone one.

Not only this but it like doubles the cost of any part you wanna buy but to each there own, I have a lot of CF on my car... well... hood, wing and vortex gen, but yeah

i agree with you DSM i think thats what im gunna do, "play it out" i just spent around 6k on the motor, got the FP black, ets front mount, intake, tial bov and some other goodies. so im gunna take my time. thanks guys
