Tommi Makinen Evo III Replica

Here's a few shots of WRC driver Jari-Matti Latvala's Evo III build. This car was recently completed and is a near exact replica of Tommi Makinen's 1996 Rally Sweden winning Evo III. Figured the community would enjoy this

Jari-Matti is actually my relative (which is why I'm able to get these pics ), and his father used to drive for Mitsu when he rallied. He drives a Fiesta WRC in rallies, but since there is no road-going AWD Fiesta, he's been recently driving an Evo 9 as one of his daily drivers. It inspired him to build this III, in honor of Makinen.

Thanks for sharing. Is that Corolla a WRC corolla? More pics of that too? Guessing he didn't want to wreck the original so that's why he built a replica?
