Arrow Smoked Evo8 Altezzas?

A friend said he saw a pic of a Evo8 with smoked Altezzas. He said it looked awesome. Anyone else seen any pics of smoked Altezzas?

Is it easy to get the lense off of the light assembly? Or can you spray the smoked tint on the outside of the lense?

Big improvement over stock!

Do you spray from the inside of the lense or the outside of the lense? Is it difficult to get the spray applied evenly?

Actually you can tent them for $4.00 just using windshield tent from wal-mart takes all of 10 mins ive done it to my accord.

That was my first ive also done custome tails painted to match the car with arrows for my turn signal and the middle finger sign that wnet over my flashers and blinked when I armed my nitrous kit.

The windshield tint. Is that like a spray or more like a film? Dos it go on the inside or outside of the lense?

How about the VHT stuff. Inside or outside of the lense?

The wind shield strip goes on outside. Its just like window tint but but a little more plastic so its easy to remove and adjust. All you need is to spray the tail light with soapy water and apply the tint using a flat edge (card board, plastic ) run along the ting removiving all the water inside it .

Ive seen this done to a car at a car show this season! It looks sweet until you get up close to it. When you look at the lens it has a dull haze over it that the spray tint leaves. It's all personal preference, but I think that you could apply thin layer of clear coat over the tint to give them the shiny clean cut appearance!

If anyone wants to try doing up a set of smoked lights, but don't want to try it to your original cluster set, I'll sell you mine for $200 plus shipping.....I just upgraded to the JDM Evo VII's red tails...so I don't need the originals anymore. Just pm me.

When I get an Evo, I will change my lights for sure. I am not sure whether it will be smoked or Evo 7.
