Just wanted to share a little ideal

As you know the MR shift knob insert is not sold separately!So i contacted Touge Factory and ask if they can make something similar like the OEM sticker,Thanks Philip

This is what i got


Now the gel piece is actually a 1" Circle Clear 3d Dome Epoxy Self-Adhesive Sticker. I was gonna reuse the old one but it's to yellowish


So here is a decent replacement for the MR shift knob sticker if you destroy your insert.I still use the OEM sticker with just a brand new 3D dome sticker.

 

After doing some more work i found out that the size of the oem 3d clear dome sticker was the size of 7/8 not the 1inch i said before sorry.Perfect fit replacing the yellowish oem

Here is how it looks with the new clear sticker! plus my 6speed stickers just in case i cant find another 6spd sticker

 

I'd love to see the same thing, with a 5 speed pattern. I have a MR knob, minus the sticker.

Exactly. I like the look of the MR knob, but hate using it with the center open.

 

i have that one in my electric blue, the sticker ended up getting loose due to south florida heat....

 

A good clear adhesive spray should do the trick bud

OP..If you got a good decal shop like touge factory around.have them make a sticker or decal similar to the 5spd sticker.Thats what i did,not like oem but hey looks good right?

Than find some 7/8 3d dome epoxy stickers (ebay) and you should be good. Don't forget the clear adhesive spray for those hot summer days!

Sucks because mitsu doesn't sell the sticker alone,i'm surely not gonna pay $150 for a new shift knob & a sticker

 

I would also like one for 5sp. Both sticker and dome

If someone finds it hard to make than probably $10 shipped if they don't wanna do the work themselves.

 

Where'd you buy the clear dome stickers from? (can only find 1", instead of 7/8")

Ebay and hobby stores like joann,Michael's usually they only carry the 1inch

 

How many people are intersted in the 5spd setup? Need a head count so I can get some made
