Chipped front grill. How did you fix?
Paint (or whatever they used) is all chipped and nasty looking on the grill in front of my FMIC. Also some on the hood vent.
Anyone paint or powdercoat it? I was thinking of scuffing it up and repainting, and then using LOTS of clear.
Not sure about the hood vent. I'm not sure if that paint came off from road debris, or heat.
Replacing it with cheap Home Depot gutter guard is NOT an option. lol

I'll pass on the painting techniques and colors but for the products:
For the grill:
You will have to sand it, apply some paint adhesion promoter, prime it, paint it and clear it.
After that, put it in a oven at 20f for 45 minutes.
This will harden the paint and it will come out more solid.
