Boostin Performance's Shop Evo 9 - Kristin's 10 second DD
I've never created a thread about my car, and figured it's about damn time!! lol
My name is Kristin, and I've owned my 2006 Evo GSR for 4 years. I instantly feel in love with the car, the seats, the handling, everything!! I had no problem saying 'Bye Bye' to my Skittle (03 SRT4), and 'Hello' Evo.
When I first got the car, I mainly drove it to and from school and work, or to a few of the local meets. I kept things pretty simple since I relied on the car so much. Soon after that, I figured it was time to have more fun, and wanted to be able to enjoy the car on multiple platforms. I've been to the dragstrip, roadcourse, and SCCA racing events with her, and I plan on competing even more this year.

It was a secondary car for the previous owner, and trust me, I was happy to take it off his hands. I remember the drive home that day, and having the biggest smile on my face that I couldn't wipe off!! I was so excited to find this jem - a stock Evo with less than 2K miles, and in my favorite color.

Within a couple of weeks, the installation of some simple mods began….boost controller, intake, exhaust, tint and of course a tune from my hubby Devin. An upgraded AMS front mount wasn’t far behind on the mod plan, followed by upgrading the suspension and brakes. I also powder coated the stock rims satin black.
Some pics when I just got her-

Back when the Red Demon was a street car, and we could cruise together

Besides being my DD for work, I've also been keeping busy on the weekends splitting my time between the drag strip to autoxing. The car went 10.90 @ 125 MPH on E85 last year. This is all still on the stock motor and turbo which now has 68,000 miles. Below is the video from that 10.90 pass.

Here are some of the most recent pics of how she sits. These pics was taken at the track last year with Devin's old set of 26" tall Hoosier QTP's with Ichiba 20mm spacers on stock brakes.

In 2010, we placed 2nd in the Redline Time Attack Enthusiast Class at the Autobahn in Joliet, IL.

I was rockin some RPF1's last season they were 18", and I want to get some 17" for it this year.
