The only thing with that is I've yet to see an LED strobe that is as bright or has as good off-axis visibility as an actual strobe bulb.

And in case you're wondering Depo also offers a regular JDM IX style if you want something more "traditional" since the consensus here is that the LED's are ricey. The tails I had on originally are the Depo JDM IX's.

 

Well I like them on a white car.......kind of has a stormtrooper look to it which is cool, im trying to picture them on a silver car now

 

I like the body matched "storm trooper" style too, that's why I matched these on my DD truck. 210 high power lumiLEDs per set, with divorced power supplies. Total of 10 circuitboards built by hand for this project.

Working on a gray set similar to this with the JDM CT9A tails now.

 

I would like to see the finished result. I've always been a fan of LED lighting because of their long life and pure color output, but have never got around to retrofitting them into anything.

for what it is, it's a work car. hate to see our cars with stuff like this on 'em, but like everyone's said, it's your car and you will do what you want with it. I can only imagine what all the rednecks in our state are saying when you come flying by in the evo lmao.

Well, I've never played midnight club, so I wouldn't know... lol. No offense taken though, I asked what people thought about them and I appreciate the honesty. I'm not going to get all butthurt if someone doesn't like what I do to my car.

 

I think they're either confused or think it's just another loud 4 banger... That's ok though, I didn't buy this car to win any populatity contests, lol.
