^ i'll probably end up doing another one with plexiglass/lexan. what adhesive will work and where to get it? wonder if PVC cement will work.

I doubt pvc cement would work, it actually melts the PVC when you bond it, so in the end you would probably get a cloudy white result even if it did work. Not sure what you would need though, I suppose a dries clear super glue and a good deal of pressure to ensure no air bubbles. Best to try the glues first on a small piece before you've done any real work to it though.

don't really care about transparent glue, i would paint it anyways. i just want to use plexiglass for it's strength and light weight. there's a glue that i used to use with RC cars that would melt the lexan together.

That's cool.

On a side note, I really love those wheels. FNO1RCs + bronze = sex

I like it too. The imagination is running wild. Some M3 Carbon fiber stick on might look alright too. You could even get creative with the holes (would take more time) but things like:

As a few examples of the different designs.

Personally I think this would look great:

3M DP 820 or New Hermes Instant Liquid Bond works well with acrylic. I would go with the 3M since it allows you some work time to adjust and align if you needed to. That instant stuff is great but man... you have to be quick and precise.
