So I learned something very important this weekend, never trust your friends with your car...I let my friend drive me home from the bar because i had one to many brews. She decides to drive straight into a curb when she was parking. Ripped the lip right off.

Now, my question is for those of you how have experienced this (and i know some of you have) is it possible to just buy a replacement lip? Or will the clips on the bumper be damaged? I know that a few of the clips on the side by the wheel wells were damaged before this, so im not sure if i should bother trying without the whole bumper.

I also think i want to get a beatrush undertray, i havent been running one for a while, and i feel like the plastic fender liners arent as sturdy with out it. am i just paranoid or should i just bite the bullet and get everything?

Of course you can buy a new lip and put it on. Im sure some of the clips are messed up but you wont really know till you get in there and look. I would replace everything that is damaged. Maybe thats just me.

 

with all the searches ive done, it looks like im going to need to buy a white bumper and have it painted...does anyone sell them pre painted anymore?

 

hey brother I know that the bumpers normaly come pre painted white at leas tthe Evo 8 bumpers do and so you mught get lucky.

 

Still need help finding a lip for a good price. I want to go with the SE lip just to keep it looking stock, but i have a hard time finding vendors that wont rape me on shipping, who knows where to look?

 

have u tried dealership? or mitsubishiparts? i dont know how much shipping is tho :-(
if shes hot, tell that girl to give it up or pay for the lip. j/k
