Best wheel color with a Rally Red EVO 8

First of all, I'm hoping this is the right place to post this, if not, mods feel free to move it to the correct forum.

I just picked up my EVO 8, the previous owner had spray painted the wheels a flat black. It's starting to chip off and flake. I was thinking about trying to remove the paint, but I was afraid it would damage the factory finish underneath.

I have a friend who works as a powdercoater and has offered to do them for me for a good price.

I'm torn between having them coated back to the original stock color, or doing a completely different color altogether.

What's everyone's opinion on this?

Pictures?

Thanks

I can't think of any color that would look better than silver.
Red = boring
Blue = no
Yellow = no
Green = yuck
Gold = no
White = maybe

I've tried black and now on silver but always wanted to try out gold. I think it would look great though.

Bronze is classic. Gunmetal is also clean IMO.

On red, bronze usually looks great. Black also looks good when paired with tinted windows.

Red is a tough color, not many colored wheels look good. Black or white always look good though.

White would be sick on a RR evo.

Bronze has the warm tones in it that will compliment the red; certain golds have that too.

Brass color would work as well as bronze but more bling. Personally I like the gold or bronze even on an Apex Silver 8
