Shift Knob and Racing Pedals

I know these are two different parts but I'm looking for suggestions on an aftermarket shift knob and racing pedals.

Preferably a counter-weighted shift knob and grippy/circular holed racing pedals.

I know that apparently not all shift knobs fit right producing either a gap or don't thread correctly. I've also seen the mod to put a momo shift knob on which is nice because it's shorter but seems like significant work. While looks are semi-important, I want something that basically improves the ability to shift quickly and smoothly.

For pedals looks probably are the most important along without slipping off the gas/cluth everytime you're shifting. I've also heard the Evo's pedals are slightly smaller so not just any aftermarket's will fit flush. Right now autotecnica's look the best.

Thanks for any advice!

i'm using a greddy counter-weighted shift knob. it fits PERFECTLY, and is just a screw on. With this shift knob, i'm able to shift much more smoothly and effectively. 5th gear is also much easier to get into.

I long debated over many shift knobs. I had the MMC silver knob, and it was too short and too small. I got the Works Rally shift knob for Xmas. I love it. It is a perfect fit. Its the same size as stock knob, but it is counter weighted as well (surprisingly heavy).

I use a Kartboy shift knob, and I got aluminium pedal covers from Autovation.net total price for everything was about $100, and it all looks great. The shift knob is nice and heavy too, a bit smaller than stock leather one. Plus you can put whatever color decal you prefer on it, or even make your own. I made one that hase my avatar on it. heres a picture of the pedals, and if you search on this forum, you can find the shift knob pictures.. I'll take pictures of them installed in my car later.

I like my Kartboy knob. It's heavier than stock and is a bit shorter.

I have the Mitsu one. Feels nice when shifting. Have the Mitsu pedals also. Nice for no slipping.
