stitching...

OK, I am building a false wall to hide my amp power cords and cables

Origionally I was going to make this from carbon fiber, but decided in the end that with a trunk, a fabric would be a better call. So I am making the back wall from tempered hardboard covered with a padded alcantara...

Now, I have an MR SE (with the red stitching) so I am doing horizontal stitching spaced at 6" to match the seat backs, but the edges I am having a judgement call on, and want some quick opinions...

It can either be red stitching on the edges as here:

Or Black stitching as here:

I am digging the black, but my room-mate says red..... Of course he drives a cavalier, so what the hell does he know?

OH, disregard the crappy stitches here, this small swatch of fabric was just to test different settings on the machine and as such the stitching is crooked, uneven and crap...

Really? Doesnt it look all cluttered and plaid where they meet? Just to be clear. The hotizontal will be red no matter what. I am just talking about the borders. And there are alot of borders in this design

The perimeter of the false wall
Around 3 amps
Around 2 caps

Just thinking it may get cluttered quickly

Id do the black stitching on the edges, red on red looks cluttered with the two different stitch paths crossing each other
