My WW IX RS
UPDATE!!! 9/26/12
Went to the track last night for fun to watch some friends race. I had no intentions of running the RS. Saturday its a big racing event at the same track which i planned to go to in the RS and race there. I was thinking and so was my buddy suggested maybe launch the car a couple times to see if the Stock clutch will hold up. Well, im glad i did because on the first pass and even more on the 2nd, clutch was slipping lol. The stock clutch has been in the car for 83K miles and im surprised it lasted this long. Right when i would launch it, the RPM's would shoot up and the car would not go anywhere lol. I knew it was time for a new clutch but i thought i would get away with it for a few passes.
The only positive thing about this is that the clutch doesn't slip through gears doing a pull. The clutch doesn't feel that good, but it seems to hold through 2nd or 3rd gear pulls. Since im getting the Junk Box ready next week for the track, funds arent there yet for a new clutch. When the time comes soon, I will be going with a Quarter Master Twin Street version
Hopefully can still get the car out at the end of this season.

It's between the QM and the Exedy twin. I do want it to last a long time, but the street version I thought will last longer than the race version. I never had the street version before. Either way I need one. I forgot how awful a stock clutch is launching lol. Especially since the RS is making a lot more power then stock. I knew it was going to slip right away.

Thanks Bud!
Do you still have your Exedy Twin HD for sale? Looks like I def need it now haha. Yea the flywheel is lighter but I drove the street version and it drives honestly just like stock. But i have never driven an Exedy Twin HD before. Is it similiar to the QM? Driveability and launching?
I've never driven a QM before, but I know the twin HD is pretty similar to stock too, just grabs faster

lmk about the discs!
