Alright i'm going to start the Official Evo Rally Thread

EDIT ----After much hate because i live in Chicago and don't have a lot of land as they do in Europe or other places in the U.S i have changed this to Chicago Gymkhana

ALthough it wasn't what i was expecting it was still a decent video. But i just want to know if you really drove out onto some farmers spinach/lettuce or whatever field at 5:15?

 

wondered the same thing... looks like cultivated farm land

 

Sorry man but this is not rally...thats just beating on your evo and driving around on loose surfaces with your buddies. The second video the guy is doing it right.

 

yeah obviously the second one is rally. the first video not so much i am beating the **** outta it but there are parts of rallying in it in the forest. I am currently turning my car into a rally car. 24pt Cage, Suspension, Custom aluminum under-tray. Then i will be set to do Rally X. I live 15 minutes from Chicago so spots are very scarce around me.

why does it matter to you, im not trying to be a dick but clearly you are. If u don't have anything positive to say then don't say anything at all. No one forces you to watch or open a thread. Any yeah i beat on my car So im lowering the value of my car think i care? Currently my motor is pulled and im cutting through the firewall to install my 24pt cage. I plan on keeping this car for rallycross and whatever i can get into. But its cool bro

 

I enjoyed the vid. It's a good watch.
The girl was pretty good looking too.

Don' take this wrong. Take it as constructive criticism. I can see from the footage that your not nearly as comfortable making right turn as you are left turns once you break traction. So when ever you have a big open area just work on that more. AND BE CAREFUL! dont ruin that beautiful evo.

no doubt appreciate it man, i completely understand you, most of this footage is from right when i tore my ligaments around my should of my left arm so when this was filmed didnt have a strength on that arm. i have a immobilizer on when its raining in that part of the video. I still have much to learn, i do understand how the evo works how to control the under steer and place the car where i want. Everyone' who has made a name for themselves and worked to the top had to start somewhere, im registered for scca rallyx next season. Cannot wait to rally im from chicago so now a whole lot of places i cant practice in my area besides what i did in the video, i guess its more of a gymkhana thing or something.
