This is probably not the doing of the past owner. I can tell by the way the car is modified that the past owner would have not put that emblem on the trunk.

The dealership that is selling the Evo VIII did it. They probably have no idea what they are actually trying to sell.

confused on how you can tell the way it was modified. All I see is muffler and tail lights. Not sure if that justifies the badge.

There's a link right below the picture. Click it, and everything becomes clear.

What made me laugh was when the woman in the video described the "little four cylinder" as "fuel efficient" lol.

That's honestly what I thought as well. I mean, if you own a car that's as clean as this one, then you shouldn't be dumb enough to badge it wrong. Odds are, the dealership is really bad at marketing their inventory, and they'd maybe take a lowball *** offer on this thing. But really. EVO X? Lmao some people are just clueless.

I agree with it being the dealership. There's a good bit on money under that hood, and I'll give the owner the benefit of the doubt. No a bad price though!

I think you got it right....

I think the letters were coming off, or the "V" was missing, so they pulled the VIII off, used the "V" for the missing "v" in evolution, then used an "X" off of SOMETHING else to keep the balance in perspective...

It's a low-ball car.
