Manny's Evo 9 Mr Build

Updates: New Pics Page 7
Tuned at 360hp, 342 tq
Dyno Chart on page 3

First I'd like to say that I do not have much experience with the forum/thread posting aspect of this. Also, I am no where near a mechanic so most of this is NOT done by me.

The guys at AutoModz, Tampa are helping me build my baby. After a spun bearing I thought it was time to re-build the motor. I was initially going to do a OEM rebuild but having money in my pocket to spend what just an opportunity too hard to pass out on. I am building a 2.3L Stroker Mivec Block. The car is no where near finished.

The Car:

Engine:

Block Line Honed
Manley Crank
Manley Rods
Wiseco Pistons
ARP Main Studs
ARP Head Studs
ACL Race Bearing
Oil Pump Balance Shaft Delete
Rotating Assembly Balanced
MLS O-ringed Metal Head Gasket
SS Sports Turbo Manifold

Accessories:

Injen Intercooler Piping
HKS SSQV BOV
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump

Double Din Head Unit
Triple Gauge Pillar Pod
AEM Wideband AFR Gauge

Tein S. Tech Lowering Springs w/ Bilstein Struts

Stock Parts:
Stock Evo 9 Turbo
Stock Injectors

Future Mods:
Cams
Injectors
Coilovers

I was actually very privileged that the guys at AutoModz let me come in and get my hands a bit dirty with my motor. They have been building 4G63s for many years now and have a LOT of knowledge about them.

Does anyone know where I can find/buy the 3 Diamond emblem that screws on the front bumper grill? I purchased the vehicle use and it came with some things but it was also missing some as well. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Congrats on the motor build.

I had alot of trouble with my HKS Bov, might be something you watch. It had alot of part throttle lift bucking.

http://www.jnztuning.com/ is where I get all my OEM stuff. Great guys who have been around a long time.

So I went to see my car today, the car runs a feels a lot better. Just waiting on the tune, the car is running Hella Rich so gotta fix that. Here is a quick pic, btw the front struts are from another evo because my Bilstein broke. New struts going in today as a temp until i get my Bilsteins rebuild.
