IX modified bumper

Hey does anyone have a picture of a IX bumper that is modified like this?

I'll be painting my bumper soon and this looks pretty sweet on an 8, just wondering how it will look on a 9 bumper

I doubt it. That looks like a modified 8 bumper.

photoshop it on the 9 bumper and you'll get an idea. I don't think anyone has hacked up their evo 9 bumper for that.

Looks bad. I have yet to see any bumper hacked up like that and have it look good. Usually it's done with the mindset it won't look good but it's functional.

I don't like, it looks like a genuine incomplete home job. The lines are different on the IX bumper but I don't see any that look like they can be modified and look half decent.

For looks it doesn't work for me, but, as said before, it can serve a purpose functionally.

I have yet to see it done on an Evo 9 bumper but I do not know how strong it would be since the Evo nine grill doesn't help support the bumper like the nose of an Evo 8. I'd be scared to do it and the damn thing snap in half on me because of it being too thin to support the weight on both ends of the bumper when it's off the car

Wow, that is different. I had a nose chop. One of a kind (or two) for sure. What intercooler?

I think it's hideous

It'd look way better to fill the holes solid than to cut them out like that

Please don't do that to any bumper unless you want your car to look hacked.

I can't wait to start seeing the "mods" that are going to be done to these cars as they get older and cheaper to buy.
