that is not a mod, thats a backyard hack job. at least on the 8 bumpr, it has the center upright still giving the step a little rigidity, you have no upright on a 9 bumper, leaving you with a flimsy piece of plastic barely reaching across trying to hang shape for dear life.

this thread reminds me of when i had a few bumpers laying around and i wanted to integrate the stock 8 bumper with a voltex lip. heres the bumper with the lip cut off


and heres the bumper with the voltex lip attached.


the lip extends further than the bumper.


in my head the idea was sick, but after it was done, it looked like straight up crap...



it also sat way too low and since im lowered, it sat about an inch off the ground and scrapped when turning. so i scrapped the project the same day....
