You are correct....I had a built to hell 93 t/t stealth. Very strong and wicked car...right at 600hp. Always wanted a 99 vr4 though. Still have a soft spot for them.

Very sick car man, makes me miss mine lol.

Definitely one of the nicest ones I've seen!

Looks good! The more threads I see with people using this plasti-dip the more interested I get. Seems fairly inexpensive and easy to apply. The reversible aspect is probably the most alluring part for me. Now see how it holds up over time.

This is clear matte plasti-dip over the factory graphite gray, and it's 100% removable. The reason behind this was to protect the paint over the winter, because it is my brother's daily driver. I already removed one panel (the drivers door -because of runs), and resprayed it. It comes off easy as hell, the paint is unscathed underneath, and it will protect the paint over the winter.

Think of it as a full clear bra.
wow that came out so darn nice! at first i was like ehhh, but it looks really really nice.. what would you charge for this for a regular person haha?

Just a little update on this;

We've had a big snowstorm here recently and the plasti dip is holding up better than expected. Even with ice and hard snow sticking to the car, the plasti dip doesn't go anywhere when brushing it off with an ice scraper. I also took the car to a car wash, and I pressure washed it with no problems whatsoever. This stuff is pretty durable!

Here's a pic; don't mind the NWS dick.

Depends on color, but anywhere from $250-550.

For that price. Do mine

My friends used to plastdip their wheels, but it didn't hold even a couple months..

Well, since wheels are spinning all the time, body panels should hold it more well ?

anyways, car looks good

I sprayed the wheel matte black as well and they have held up perfectly fine! They must not have sprayed them correctly.

My plastidipped bbs wheels held up really well as well for normal driving. It was only when I would smack a cone with one during an autox where they would take a bit of damage. Like the OP said its very easy to remove and reapply (assuming you have a thick coat, thin coats are a pain in the butt to remove). Looks great, may consider doing this to my GG later on when I want to change its look a bit.

Good to hear! I definitely think a lot of people just spray them quickly, to get it over with, and don't take the time to do it right. I've been sliding around in the snow in my brothers (car pictures) Evo, and they've held up awesome.

I'm looking at picking up some RPF1's for some spare track wheels, and I will be plastidipping them blaze blue.

Looks great!

I always thought that gray really shows off the lines of the evo well. But that satin really does the trick! makes it very sharp and defined.

Great work!

Love all your cars! Don't part that 99 VR4 out it's way too nice. I had a fully built 98 for a while that I just sold last year and wish I would have kept it. If you do plan on selling PM me your asking price!
