PlastiDip on a sanded wing?

My wing was faded, I sanded it down a good deal, but it still needs work before a clearcoat. So I was thinking I might put some black plastidip just to see if I'd like driving with the wing. I bought the car with it faded and have always driven it wingless (first car too).

So who reckons that I would have trouble peeling the PlastiDip off sanded CF and I shouldn't bother?

Go for it. You can use SEM Solve on plasti-dip and it will literally wipe off like dirty water.

As long as you spray on a thick enough coat of plastidip, usually about 4 good coats or more, it should peel off no problem. I've only had problems getting the thin coats off as it usually peels off in small pieces. Also if you have any problems getting it off, you could always just pressure wash it too.

Don't pressure wash it, you could peel your paint off. Use SEM Solvent.

Pressure washer would of course be a last resort. You don't have to get but 2-3 feet away from plastidip to wash it off. I've personally pressure washed it off before more than once with no problems. You should post up some pictures of the finished product
