What $15 worth of ebay tint can do for stock tails

So like most I thought the OEM Evo 8 tails were terrible, so i decided to take a chance with short money on some generic red tint film from none other than good ol'e Ebay.

Here's the results of about 15 minutes of barely any work and half of a Corona Extra.

Enjoy

Much better than VHT, the spray tint is trash. Add a link to what tint you used.

Honestly, surprised more people dont do it.. no need for sanding..masking...spraying..pro clearing..wet sandling... AND its easily reversible.

btw here's the link to the stuff i bought. works real well with a heat gun to curve it clean over the edges.

Good deal thanks for the link! My tb needs red tails now I just need an exact measurement of the lines where the blinkers are on real jdm 7 tails to make true copies.

sorry but if you know what your doing then NOTHING beats the clarity and glass like look that the VHT spray will give you.

this is one of the better brands of red tint that ive seen but it still has that slightly hazy look that older tail lights get from oxidization.

ive had both and in person you can really tell the difference.

wow that turned out awesome.

like TIG said it doesn't seem to have the clarity of glass but still looks amazing.

Got the tint on order. Looks good for my TB. I really don't care about if clarity not exact of glass. Not many can keep up to complain how my tails look anyway lol.
