Autometer steering column dual gauge pod

I am debating on whether to get this pod. Has anyone gotten one of these and installed it?

What im concerned about is blocking the view to the OEM gauges. I dont want something that blocks the view of the RPM or Speedo.

If anyone has pics of it installed from a drivers perspective, I would appreciate them posting up.

Or you can send them to me: memer02@att.net

Thanks in advance

The only gauge it blocks is your fuel gauge... Which sucked!!! But if you can remember to check your fuel gauge every now and then it's a great pod

I have the single pod, which I preferred for the time being. If you were to get the dual, it looks like it will only block the fuel gauge.

ATI makes a nice pod. With the ati you can move the cups around.

Thanks very much for the pics...exactly what I needed to see.....unfortunately looks like it will block the fuel gauge on one side and part of the speedo on the other side if using a dual setup ( which i will be doing ) That sux !!!

I think I'm going to do something custom using single gauge cups ( not pods ) and mount them more to the side of the column. It will require custom pedestal mounts but shouldn't be too bad. That way the gauges will still be visible and out of the line of sight for the main cluster.

Heading over the part-out forum to see if I can get an upper steering column cover as a spare.

I appreciate your posts guys !

Yea. It blocks the speedo at higher speeds, but your typical highway speeds are easily visible. The gas gauge does suck tho

I have the ati pod.. You can move them, I'm 65% happy with it. It still slightly blocks the fuel guage but at least u can see the light. The left side blocks nothing..

I have it on my car and yes, it makes you always forget to fill up because you can't see the gas gauge. Nothing beats running on fumes to get to work.

I've had the ATI pod for quite awhile now and it did take time getting used to them being placed there. its not bad because i MADE myself get used to it lol. but as i've thought afterwords for the past few years i wish i did have my gauges in another location. oh well Good luck whichever one pod you choose.

ive resorted to putting a sticker near my gauge setup reminding me to check the gas tank and using trip A to monitor mileage on current tank.
