damn.. evo 8 nose chop is the cleanest looking bumper imo... I really wanna try it but I'm too afraid.. and repaint whole bumper is required, right?

 

^Some people do without painting the whole thing but that's the best way to do it. I really need to chop mine while it's down.

Looks awesome. Quick question for all that did the nose chops. Do you guys leave it like above, or do you guys put the diamond star in the grill to resemble the IX's??? Either way looks nasty!

 

Along with this what mesh to you put back there 9?

I actually had an EVO 9 front grill that I was planning to put in, but the EVO 9 grill support holes do not line up with the 8. Unfortunately I had to re use my 8 grill which has a small square cutout in the bottom center. Eventually I'll have to re-make the grill with new meshing on the Evo 8 support...
