Evo 8.5 Rolling Shots
If I spent the time to actually clean it really good, honestly it'd probably still almost look new, the anodizing holds up great.

As said.. asfaik they're the same. It does have ACD but that'll be getting removed hopefully sometime soon. The wheels are 18x9.5 +20 but now that I don't drive it on these horrible roads as much as I use to I'll be on the hunt for some nicer wheels.
If there was any other front bumper combo I'd run it'd be a 9 bumper with a painted SE lip
Thanks everybody for the kind words, I'm still far from happy but getting closer, got some huge things going on soon. I might make a small "build" thread for the upcoming mound of parts piling up in my living room

great looking car but i dont see any other evo 9 parts besides the jdm bumper. you have evo 8 chopped front with evo 7 rear tail lights... if u had the 9 front bumper then you could call it an 8.5 otherwise its still an 8 in my mind.
So it'll always be a mix in my eyes

He also has the evo9 steering wheel, CF dash trim, 9 head lights, 9 rims (not on the car) and it had 9 tails when he bought it. But really, who cares about semantics like that? Why post because "in your mind" it isnt an 8.5.
because its a public forum and i can voice my opinion if id like to. i like his car and was curious why he put 8.5 as his title, he didnt seem to get nearly as butt hurt about it as you did. got a problem?
