I like to call it an 8.5 because it has every Evo 9 part besides mivec and the front bumper (I prefer a nose chopped 8) Was heading back from the DynoTech open house yesterday, buddy of mine decided to snap some pictures, it's still very much a work in progress.. FF kit and a BUNCH of other misc. stuff (90%), coilovers (being built), nicer wheels (due time)

I'm pretty sure the ACD system on the 2005 evo 8 and the 2006 evo 9 are the same.

Nice looking ride to the OP. I have a WW as well and was thinking of going with the 9 front bumper cover, but after looking at your chopped 8 nose I may reconsider. Looks sweet!

 

I don't typically like the 8 front bumper, but damn, that looks great!
