Looking at getting my car repainted due to an accident. It is an '03 Apex silver car. It will be repainted close to the same color, just looking for some ideas on how to set it apart from other cars. Anyone ever seen or had a silver car with different colored metallic flakes mixed in? Thinking about blue flake with the silver car but can't decide if it will look nice or like crap. Any ideas anyone has feel free to share!

I added a link to show what my other car looks like. It is black with green flakes mixed in. The paint mixer went a bit overboard but it still looks good at least.

everyone has different opinions... but i feel that would look like do do...

of course a deep 2 stage apex with pearl clear would look sexy as ****... of course i'm stealing someone elses idea... but **** it right...

Holy crap that looks awesome! Definitely an awesome idea! I'm really on the fence about the blue and silver. It's hard to picture and I can't find anything similar online.

 

The car in those pics is sweet. If you can get the paint to look anything like that it'll be a huge win

 

Maybe not what you're looking for but I would like to see an evo painted one of the colors below.

 

By one of the colors he mwans the only one of the two that any respectable evo owner would choose... The lambo...

 

There is a few evos on here with that lambo gray color.

Or a stock metallic silver with grey flake. I think it'd be clean.

 

Like the gray, but then the bay wouldn't even come close to matching and it would drive me nuts! That's why I am looking for something very similar to the stock but with a bit of flair to it! Thanks for the suggestions, pics are definitely welcome here!

 

Heres mine. Custom mixed up of a few bmw silvers and honda. Kinda a graphite silver metallic. Turned out great

 

beautiful man! I am looking for something slightly more flashy but still under the radar. I know that contradicts itself but I am sure someone will chime in. I am all but sold on the chameleon overcoat in the first reply but can't find any info on it!

Not really looking to paint the bay and door jams like I said before. It is too plain for me anyways :P

 

I am looking for info on using the chameleon paint or color change paint over a silver base coat. Can not find much info online and the paint dealer I emailed didn't reply and doesn't have a number listed. Any help is appreciated!

 

This color combo is amazing. My two favorite evo colors are AS and GG and its like a mixture of both!
