Just out of curiosity..

What's everyone use to clear the snow off their cars? I know some people don't like using a brush cause they're afraid of creating minor scratches. I personally just take a towel and kinda "sweep" it off.

I thought if you went fast enough it would just melt from the friction or it would just fly off!!! J/k Brush or towel it would create micro scratches anyways cause of the jagged edges on the ice itself(there are really fine edges you can't see like dust particle size, its like really fine and thin sand paper)! Just be sure that when thew sun comes out and you can finally wash your car put a nice coat of wax on it! Good Luck!

It snowed last night

I'm pretty pissed off. I spent 5-6 hours last time it was moderately nice out (45 degrees) to wash, clay, paint clean, polish, and wax my car then it has to snow a week later.

i just pull a couple laps around the block at 60. Not only does it get the snow off but it looks pretty damn cool behind you.

Actually it's the dust and dirt that is on your paint already (before it snows that scratches the surface when you remove the snow....not jagged ice particles.

Put a car cover on when you know it's going to snow. It'll make snow removal MUCH easier than using a brush/towel/scraper.

SC~ whos giving snow removal advice from his comfy chair on this cold (63degrees) day in SoCal!
