Thanks guys. Didnt have time to install the coilovers, but did have some time to pick up more parts. Haha. CBRD O2 housing and downpipe combo. Very nice piece, Im impressed. And it has barely any miles on it. Also got my hotchkis rear swaybar back from pc. Did white with metallic flake. Plan is to do the rear diff mod and swaybar at the same time. Stay tuned.

Did the suspension and rear diff mod today. All I can say is holy $hit in regards to the diff. Night and day difference. It feels bad ***! And as for the suspension, very very very impressed and satisfied. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a coilover system but doesnt want to dish out the coin for the expensive units. I didnt push the car yet, but just driving home felt awesome. And dont bash me for how it is sitting right now. I still have to make adjustments. I think the front can come down a little more. Suggestions welcome.

I forgot to take pics while I was re-stacking the plates, but Im sure everyone has seen how its done by now. Whoever didnt do this mod yet, I suggest you get on it. Its very easy, it took me about 25-30 min to remove the diff from the car. Another 30 to disassemble and reassemble. I think I can say best mod I have done so far.

Out with the old.

So I dropped off my bumpers at my friends house so he can paint them for me. I knew he was a little bit of a procrastinator, but he does good work. To make a long story short, he had the bumpers since July 3 and did absolutely nothing in the 2 months he had them, so I picked them up and me and my friend finished the nose chop. I then dropped my bumpers off at a local body shop 2 weeks ago to get sprayed. He said he would def get them done this week. I received no phone calls, so on my lunch break on Thursday I went over and checked status. They were in the same spot when I dropped them off and untouched, and he was on vacation. At this point I am just annoyed. I guess these days you cant rely on anybody. I think Im going to pick them up monday and get them done somewhere else.

In the meantime, I finished the CBRD O2 housing and downpipe combo. I had a local race shop weld a vband flange onto the catted test pipe, but forgot to take pics. Came out looking awesome and def spools quicker. The downpipe had a bung for a wideband so I tackled that at the same time. I hate gauge pods(steering wheel, a pillar, etc...) so I mounted it in the ashtray since I don't smoke and plus it looks OEM when the lid is closed. I simply cut the ashtray, and flush mounted a piece of plexiglass. Painted the back of it black and secured (glued) the AEM gauge to the plexi and glued the plexiglass to the ashtray. I can still access the back of the gauge if necessary by just pulling the ashtray out.

Thats pretty much it for now. I removed the rear bumper and then decided to get the pressure washer out and detail the car again. Picked up some new meguiars white wax to try. Works pretty well. I still need to lower the car a little more and take it to work and do a full alignment. I have VII tails coming as well. And if and when my bumpers ever get done, I am setting up a tune appointment with CBRD. Oh yeah, I did a wally 255 as well, forgot about that hahaha. Thanks for the comments and stay tuned.

I def need to invest in a descent point and shoot camera because iphone pics suck.

Dont mind the white crap everywhere. I had to trim the center consul so the gauge and ashtray would fit. It still clips in and is tight just like factory. Also, the angle is just right and you can read it clear as day in daylight and at night. No glares or anything like that.

Picking my bumpers up today, and over the weekend plan on installing them. Quick question though...the jdm rear did not come with the rivits to attach the retainer so I'm going to have to pick some up. Does anyone know off the top of their head what size rivits they are?? Thanks.

I like where this is going! And I believe they are 5/16 rivets. Hope that helps!
