Greddy Ti and other goodies

Installed some goodies. Greddy Ti, perrin HFC, and buschur DP. Cusco rear braces and undercarriage braces but forgot to take pics.

Bought it used locally.

After some TLC. Looks brand new. Never actually felt how light titanium is. Damn this exhaust is light.

Installed.

Strut braces installed.

Question?? Did some research and apparently this exhaust is notorious for burning the bumper. If I purchase a carbon shield and paint it WW, will it still turn the yellow color like my bumper is doing now??? I want to protect the bumper but do not want the carbon look. Thanks in advance.

The reason it does that is because it's designed for the JDM rear. The exhaust shield will help some. It looks like you're running a high flow cat, and that will help also. I have the same exhaust and it's my favorite out of all I've had. Nice purchase.

I've got the same exhaust and couldn't be happier. Just a Bass *** exhaust.... It's not loud until you step on it but even then it's got a nice deep sound. True JDM...

I love the sound. I read a lot of people saying its too loud and a cop magnet. I think it's just right. If you drive normal, shifting at like 3k, it's not very loud at all. When you get into higher rpms is when it really opens up, but not obnoxiously. Mine is probably a little more quiet since I have a cat, but it still sounds bad ***. Nice and deep IMO.

Second this. Bought mine used and could never get the tip to look like that.

Also in terms of burning bumper, I've had mine with JDM rear for years and no issues whatsoever. Running catless. It will burn USDM bumper though.

Not sure what OP uses, but I always use Eagle Never Dull. Its cheap, and cleans up exhausts like you wouldnt believe. With Ti, I wouldnt scrub too hard with it in case it scratches. Never a prob on stainless or aluminum.

Everyone says that when its new, and the excitement is still there.

Went to Home Depot and got some steel wool #0000. That was the finest wool they had. I'm not sure if there is any finer. Also a fresh can of WD-40. Then go to town. Doesn't scratch titanium at all. You don't have to scrub hard at all.

Instead of making a new thread, thought I would just update this one and make it kind of a little build thread. Started working on the bumpers and got my suspension. Jdm rear is primed and ready for paint. (Upsetting that Mitsu doesn't paint these anymore) Also working on the nose chop and Do-luck style lip. Ebay special but surprisingly fits pretty damn well. Thinking this weekend I will install the coil overs. I got Fortune Auto 500's with swift springs and radial bearing upgrade. 8k fronts 9k rears. I will update my progress as I go. Cheers
