I'm considering the same turbo, but can't decide on top mount, FF or stock location.

What's your reasoning for top mount besides looking awesome?

My tuner wanted to build a top mount so Im his ginney pig. Besides they do look sweet.
Not to worried about a bit of lag. The car is built to spin 10k rpm so I have all to work with.

 

Where did you get the exhaust flange from?

Not sure where he purchased the flange, he has a lot of them cause he builds manifolds a lot.

There's a reason every extremely fast shop car runs an FF. don't know why but there's gotta be one lol. Extra direct airflow would be my guess

OP looks great man I wanted to do a Top Mount myself in the future but will be going FF. you pulled it off well everything looks really good!

 

Yes alot of FF cars with are fast but if you look at those cars engine builds you can see they would be just as fast with a standard turbo setup too. Only diference is I will have AC and a full radiator for those hot summer Arizona days
