Finally building my IX...collab with PRS

Finally getting around to building the evo.... I'm going to be running a PRS 2.3 with a PRS stage 3 head and front facing PTE6466. I just dropped my cores off at the shop this morning and made the build official. Because of my work schedule the total build will take a number of months, but looking forward to the end result, the goal is to be in the 700-750whp range on PRS's Mustang dyno. Stay tuned for updates....in the meantime I'll post a few pictures.

I'm genuinely excited about this build as it has been a long time in the making. More to come soon.

Since I have a lift in the backyard, I decided to lift the car off of the engine and tranny...it went surprisingly smooth and took much less time than pulling it out of the top.

While the engine is at PRS I will be pulling all of the air condition components outs, cleaning and painting the engine bay matte black, and doing a partial wire tuck.

Sick. Good luck with the build. Only thing I would do different is just clean the $hit out of the engine bay and keep it EB. I love electric blue, maybe even a little more than WW.

I agree, I wouldn't paint my EB bay unless it was trashed. Even then I'd re-paint it EB. Sounds like a nice build, keep the pics coming!!

Good luck with the build man! The way you pulled the motor is ideal imo. Must be nice to have a lift in the backyard ahahah.
