Decided to put overlays on my turn signals. I despise black overlays/tinted lights. So next tonight or tomorrow I might paint them black. No later than next weekend though. I'm going to order another brand of amber as this one isn't as transparent and glossy I would like..... Also did my marker lights. I like them better than stock. What do you think?

 

I love that look!! I've been thinking of buying 8 tail lights and doing that Same thing.

 

Looks like stock JDM VIII GSR tails, but the indicator lens is slightly more matte in appearance.

 

You should go on ebay and get the JDM amber paint I use that and I love it!

 

stock 9 tails would look alot better. imo

If I fail the "conversion" then I will probably buy the JDM depo's. $15....

yeah. i figured i'd give it a try. not that i'm bored, but just something i'm willing to tackle. i just ordered the amber spray from ebay. so the lens will look a little more transparent.

the DEPO LED ones are pretty nice and those are the ones i'm considering.

 

Not bad, as long as you have a backup plan keep experimenting. Update with pics if you decide to paint black, would like to see results.

 

So I put a new amber color and this one is alot nicer. Same brand different kind of "amber"
Added it to the front head lights too. Looks horrible because the reflector cup/bowl was painted black from the previous owner.(idiot!)

Still planning on painting the tails black.
