Subwoofer in 04 EVO?

I hear the 04 EVO is going to have a built in subwoofer. I wonder if it will be a direct fit into an 03, and if so, I want it!

Anyone got any pics?

If it does fit in the 04 It should fit in the 03 as there are no changes other that options.

If it sounds good and is well integrated, I would want one too

Go to the Mitsu and look at a new RA with the Sun and Sound option. They have the sub and its the same one the Evo will get. Looks like *** and sounds about the same.

Lexus too, the Mark Levinson system's own. According to Edmund's they are the best, absolute best, stock stereos. I think BMW was down in the 6,7,8 place.

i secnd that. just get whatever sound system you like. the good thing is you can pick whatever sounds nice to you, and quality. i'm sure many ppl here will help you in dat one. now, i'm pretty much happy with my sound system. 2 rockford tpye RF subs and 3 rockford type RF amps too. MBquart QSD216 compo system. can't decide on the head unit yet, but im thinking of getting the Clarion VRX935VD, but cost a lot of $$ tho

It's all relative. I'm a huge home theatre buff, so I can pick out good car audio. Bose = crap. Worst sound, best marketing ever. Go to any audio forum, people will laugh you out the door if you seriously ask about Bose. I heard the Harmon-Kardon system in a BMW 330i, and it was nothing great. Deffinetly lacks bass and is very harsh on the top end. Infinity systems are some of the best I've heard in cars, atleast factory.

Too bad Klipsch, Paradigm, B&W and other big name, high quality home theatre/music companies don't make car systems. $5000 worth of audio equipment from any of those companies and your home theatre/listening room will have about 10x the impact and sound quality of a cinema. But again, please don't visit a high end audio store, you might have to sell your Evo to afford the habit.
